Monday Roundup

Hello Bookworm readers! Are you reading anything exciting? Would you like to be a guest reviewer this week? Please leave us information in the comments section so that your fellow bookworms can explore what is on your bookshelf.

Stay tuned this week for a mix of adult and children's titles, and please feel free to give us feedback on any review in the comments section.

I also didn't have a fancy picture like the rest of my team (wink) so I just picked one as my roundup logo. The trees were rustling, the wind was blowing, the crickets were singing and the sky was doing marvelous things. Rather screams that it may be a good picture for nature reads to me.

I'm a couple chapters into "The Revolution Will Not Be Microwaved" and will get my review up on my site in a week or two -- after more tomato sauce and finishing the quilt....

I think the picture is perfect. Makes me want to go for a hike.

Busy work week here, plus my mother's coming to visit and the garden needs work so not much reading time. I'm still working on The Truth About Organic Gardening, and dipping into some recent book purchases: Sharon Astyk's Depletion and Abundance, Root Cellaring by the Bubels, and Seed to Seed by Ashworth. Plus the library called to say Gaia's Garden was in.

oooh, lordy! I stayed up until 3 reading Three Cups of Tea last night and I can't wait to take a break today to start reading again. Greg Mortenson's story makes me feel so inspired and happy about the world, especially this week with everything so precarious. Thanks to all who recommended it!
