Monday Roundup

Well, Happy Monday everyone! For those of you whose jobs actually take a Presidents' Day holiday, I hope you're enjoying your time off.

I've not done a lot of reading lately, but I did finally finish "Green Collar Economy" and I've been rereading for the umteenth time "The Tightwad Gazette." I'm going to review one or the other this week -- I guess you'll just have to check back to see which one. :)

Anyway, what are you all up to? Read any good books lately?

I've got this whole week off, and I'm hoping to get some serious reading done!

I just finished my taxes (need that refund soon!), so I'm going to do something other than read for the rest of the day...

I just finished Wally Lamb's new novel The Hour I First Believed. Not a green book at all, but still quite good.

I just started reading Marion Nestle's Food Politics. I think I first learned about the book amongst the greenie bloggers. I like the tone and her point of view and the fact that her position allows her greater access than many other writers about the food industry.

Will review it once I'm done.

Farmer's Daughter: Good for you getting your taxes done already! It's still on my to-do list...

BerryBird: Interesting title -- glad you enjoyed it!

Beany: That does sound interesting. I'll look forward to your review!
