Welcome Monday! Just thought I would see if there were any new books "rolling around" inside of you that you might like to share. Anybody want to "recycle" a suggestion, so we can "reuse" your knowledge? You can "reduce" our efforts at looking for books if you share ideas!
Just call us the great composter of books.........creating new soil for the Green scene. Share your book goodness!

I'm reading "When things fall apart" by Pema Chodron. Not that my life is falling apart at the moment, but it's an AWESOME book for how to deal with daily life and work through the mess that is often our thoughts. GREAT book!
I'm just about done with Nation of Farmers but have had to detour for some major whole house decluttering.
I have Cheap: The High Cost of Discount Culture on order at the library after reading this review. I'm excited because it's the first book I've found that talks about the high price of cheap shrimp. For me, that's a great start to whatever else the book contains.
I did a review of the Daily Coyote.
I am now reading Kitchen Literacy which is incredibly eye opening. I thought the rift between farm and kitchen happened after the television, but it was well before that...slightly before railroads made it possibly to transport food over large distances. Feminism also played a huge role. So far an excellent read!
Wow! Great selections! I'm busily writing down titles.
GB: Sounds like you are doing a Chile challenge.
Beany: Let us know if you'd like to repost here.
Good titles ya'll. Shannon
Sorry guys - just could not get a review up for this week. I'm reading My City Was Gone about pollution in Anniston, Alabama for my next review - but couldn't get it finished.
Sorry Bookworms - just summer and moving busy! Anybody want me to post their review that you listed instead? Would love to have a post!
